We replaced an ageing gas boiler in Mill Hill NW7 with a Vaillant aroTHERM plus air source heat pump in three days. The £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant was approved within 48 hours, and the owner has a two-year support package from us.
The unit stands on a concrete pad close to the house, which keeps the pipe run short and the heat losses low.

Close to the house
The unit is on anti-vibration feet on a concrete pad near the house wall. A short pipe run loses less heat on the way in and costs less to fit.
