What this website collects
This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, social media pixels or third-party cookies. It sets no cookies of its own. Fonts are served from this website rather than from a font service, so no third party receives your IP address when you load a page.
The permission check and the calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent anywhere and is not stored. When you press a WhatsApp or email button, the message is composed in your own app and you choose whether to send it.
What we collect when you contact us
When you call, message or email us we collect and hold what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address and the details of the work you are asking about. We use it only to answer your enquiry, provide a quotation and, if you go ahead, carry out and record the work.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for responding to an enquiry, and contract where we go on to do the work for you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for at least six years, because building, electrical and refrigerant work carries statutory record-keeping duties and warranty obligations that run for years after the job.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to lead generation companies. We share it only where it is necessary to do the work or where the law requires it: manufacturers for warranty registration, certification bodies where a scheme certificate is issued, your distribution network operator where a notification is required, and our accountants and insurers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased where we have no continuing obligation to keep it, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry records are held in access-controlled systems. We keep what we need and no more.
