We installed a Samsung Gen 7 5kW high temperature heat pump in Richmond TW9 with a UK Cylinders Elite cylinder that has its buffer built in, and seven new column radiators. The combined cylinder saved finding space for a separate buffer tank.

The size came from a room-by-room heat loss survey, and the system is MCS certified with a 7-year Samsung warranty.

    Cylinder and buffer in one

    The UK Cylinders Elite 200/50 combines a 189-litre hot water cylinder with a 50-litre buffer in one unit, so the plant space holds one tank instead of two.

    One clean pipe run

    The flow and return come up the wall as one insulated pair in a single clipped run, which is the difference between pipework that looks designed and pipework that looks added.
