Wall-mounted solar panel installation in Wimbledon SW19
We fitted solar panels to a house in Wimbledon SW19 on two surfaces: flat against a brick wall of the house, and in a row along the roof slope. The wall panels sit on black rails fixed to the brickwork, and both were put up from a scaffold.
On the roof, bird spikes run along the lower edge of the panels to stop pigeons getting underneath, and every panel frame is bonded to earth with the green and yellow cable you can see in the close-ups.
The cable from the panels comes down the house and runs along the foot of the wall in black trunking, down the side passage and out of the way of feet and bins.
