Questions about the designer
Is the price in the designer a real price?
It is worked out from our own quotations from 2026, the same model as every price on this site, so it moves the way a real quote moves when you change the unit, the rooms or where the outdoor unit goes.
It is still an estimate. The free survey measures the rooms, checks where the pipes can run and turns it into a fixed written price.
Which type of indoor unit should I choose?
Wall-mounted is the standard answer and the best value. A ceiling cassette spreads the air four ways and suits a large room with a ceiling void. Concealed ducted hides the unit completely and you only see grilles. Floor standing is for a room where the wall will not take a high unit.
If you are not sure, pick the one you like the look of and we will tell you on the survey whether your room suits it.
What is included in the price?
The indoor and outdoor units, 25 metres of pipework, the condensate drain run to the outside, the electrics connected and certified by an NICEIC approved contractor, commissioning in every mode, and your manufacturer warranty registered for you.
The dedicated fuse board most installs need is a separate tick box, so the headline figure stays the job itself.
